The Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications to join the faculty in the College of Pharmacy. Appointments are for full-time, tenure-track and non-tenure track faculty positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank.
The positions offer an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, student-centered academic Pharm.D. program. Integrated courses are taught in a team-based learning environment that values personal and professional growth and the development of each student. The curriculum emphasizes self-directed learning, critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
Faculty, Clinical Sciences. Successful candidates will have earned a Pharm.D. with a residency or comparable degree and experience. Individuals with experience in all practice areas are encouraged to apply; those with expertise or interest in ambulatory care, family medicine, internal medicine, critical care, and/or cardiology will be preferentially considered. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining an innovative clinical practice in his/her chosen area of expertise that will support the experiential education of Pharm.D. students. Responsibilities also include contributing to the core and elective courses in the curriculum.
Faculty, Social and Administrative Sciences. Successful candidates will have earned a Ph.D. or comparable degree in the area of pharmacy social and administrative sciences, pharmacoeconomics, or related field. Responsibilities include contributing to the development and delivery of content in his/her area of expertise in the core curriculum and elective courses within the Pharm.D. program.
In addition to a dedication to excellent student teaching, all successful candidates must be committed to service to the College and University, and scholarship in his/her area of expertise.

These positions have flexible starting dates, pending approval of the Board of Regents. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
